Celebrating Dave’s 80th Birthday by Giving Back
Help Dave celebrate 80 years by making a difference!
In lieu of gifts, Dave invites friends and family to support Simply the Basics, a nonprofit dedicated to improving health, dignity, and well-being by ensuring people have access to essential hygiene supplies.
Hygiene insecurity, or the lack of reliable access to everyday essentials like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and menstrual products, affects individuals and families in our communities. These basic necessities are easy to take for granted, but they are essential to health and daily life.
Simply the Basics provides ongoing access to hygiene supplies through partnerships with schools, community organizations, and disaster-response networks. Your donation will help provide the products people need to stay healthy and feel cared for.
Whether you make a contribution through this page or bring new, unopened hygiene supplies to Dave’s birthday celebration, you’ll be helping turn a milestone birthday into an opportunity to do some good.
Thank you for celebrating Dave and helping Simply the Basics make basic hygiene accessible to everyone!
Your monetary donation is 100% tax-deductible and directly supports the purchase of requested hygiene items. Funds raised through this page will help collect and distribute essential everyday care items to communities across the Bay Area and beyond.
