Simply the Basics solves nonprofit operational challenges

Simply the Basics surveyed over 100 nonprofit organizations in 2016. We found that most organizations do not have someone dedicated to managing physical donations and on average spend about 14 hours per week sorting and redistributing donations that either aren't needed or don't have enough space. One nonprofit even spends up to 40 hours per month sorting through hygiene products that were donated inappropriately.

Simply the Basics helps with the everyday problems by distributing the supplies that are requested, necessary and that go though our Quality Control process. We also pick up the donations that are not needed and give them to programs that need them. According to a survey we did with our nonprofit partners, we saved their staff about 8 hours every week. This is like having a whole extra day to help their clients!

100% of the homeless programs surveyed said that they could achieve more program goals if they weren’t so consumed with securing basic needs for their clients.
