Agreements & Commitments as a Hygiene Bank Chapter Lead

Thank you so much for joining us as a Leader in the movement to provide basic hygiene to all people! Making basic hygiene more accessible to all people in need is a crucial aspect of empowering our global community to embrace dignity and health. By joining the Simply the Basics family, you are now a part of a network of altruistic, dedicated, passionate individuals.

Thank you for your commitment to improving the Dignity, Health, and Wellbeing of our world – and for being a part of the Simply the Basics family!

GUIDING PHILOSOPHY - All people deserve to have their basic needs met.

Impact Goals:

  1. Improve the overall health and wellbeing of people experiencing homelessness.

  2. Save nonprofit organizations time and resources so that they can focus on greater goals.

  • All chapters must use Simply the Basics reusable, mildew proof tote bags.

  • Chapters must only distribute to approved nonprofits or outreach.

    • You may suggest a nonprofit or method to become approved!

  • Chapter Leaders agree to submit results and distribution totals in a timely manner

  • Chapters are expected to share pictures and videos of club activities, and social media links to any chapter accounts or advocacy campaigns that are established by the chapter.

  • Use of the logo is only permitted for approved chapters.

  • Chapters may not alter the logo without permission for any purposes.

Chapters are expected to collect all products and funds on behalf of their Hygiene Bank.

Simply the Basics will provide Tote Bags when available, however it is expected that Chapters will raise funds for all products and supplies.

Simply the Basics is not responsible for any operating costs, time, reimbursements, or other financials or costs that come from hosting a Hygiene Bank.

All donations must be distributed to Partner Organizations. It is in this way that we always distribute Simply the Basics care with dignity, and can ensure people are receiving what they need in a method they choose, and not something chosen for them. It also encourages participation in social services, and saves organizations time and funding that can be later spent on housing and homeless services and solutions.

If you would like to distribute in the community over an outreach walk, please let us know so that we can provide tips and tools for safety and success.
