Join Simply the Basics in person to assemble hygiene kits, menstrual packs, sort products, or help attend our booth at Public Hygiene Markets! Together, we are able to ensure more people have access to their most basic needs and are able to distribute the supplies individuals and families need most quickly and efficiently!

While volunteering, you’ll work directly with your staff and have the opportunity to ask any questions and learn more about the issues of hygiene insecurity, homelessness, and the impact of your support!

Monthly Open House

Share some time on a Wednesday evening and join a community of volunteers with a similar passion. Each Open House we assemble over 100 hygiene kits and menstrual care packs in addition to support other as needed tasks. Opportunities are reserved for up to 12 volunteers each Wednesday in the Western Addition, SF from 4:00pm - 6:00pm - RSVP is required.

Public Hygiene Markets

Help distribute hygiene care directly to our neighbors in need as we set up a table for individuals and families to choose the hygiene supplies they need most. This is a great opportunity to work directly with our community and see the direct impact of our work. Market days vary upon each event.
